The cost of higher education is one of today's most pressing needs. In order to assist students from our town, the Lawnside Scholarship Club has been providing scholarships since 1945. Joined by community organizations and individuals, the Club annually administers more than $20,000 to encourage intellectual growth.

You can join with these groups and individuals to help us reach our highest goals.

The Club presented 29 awards to outstanding 2011 Lawnside graduates at a special reception at Haddon Heights High School in May.

The Annual Luncheon has been the Club's biggest fundraising event. In 2009, the Clubintroduced a Black History celebration honoring outstanding adults who have been of service to our community. The fourth annual celebration will be a luncheon honoring past Club presidents on March 24 at Tavistock Country Club, which coincides with the Club's 65th anniversary. Tickets are $55 and may be purchased from any Club member.

You can help today by participating in our "No-Show Ball." This is a fun way to contribute to our cause without dressing up or going out! Just click here and Don't Show Up to download a form you can send to the Club with your donation anytime. The party never stops. Thanks to those who have already made contributions.

Use the Club Contribution form to mail in your tax-deductible donation.

Support the Awards Celebration and Salute to Seniors on May 19 by buying a ticket for $10, advertising in the program booklet or becoming a patron for one of the graduates.

Would you like to donate goods or services to be raffled or auctioned by the Club to raise money?

The Club's annual book award fund was over-extended as the economic downturn worsened. Regrettably, we have temporarily suspended these awards. Would you like to endow a book award starting at $300?
