step one: registration

Register & Complete the Introduction Form

To register for consideration to receive an award from the Lawnside Scholarship Club, you’ll need to attend a school visit and complete a form to show that you are interested in the award process. 

  • Attend a school visit in October or February. The school visits share information about college planning & budgeting, the FAFSA program and the LSC Award program. 
  • Complete the Introduction Form. The Introduction Form collects basic contact information about the student and their parent\guardian. 
  • Introduction forms must be completed by February 28th of the award year. 

step two: eligibility

Complete the Eligibility Form

In this step, the Club will request information from the student about their high school experience. Students will be asked to complete the Eligibility Form.

  • Complete the Eligibility Form. The Eligibility Form collects basic contact information about the student’s high school experience.
  • Eligibility forms must be completed by March 15th of the award year.

step three: informational workshop

Attend an Informational Workshop

Informational workshops will be held for parents to discuss FAFSA and state aid deadlines, plus any other scholarships that may help with financial planning.

step four: submit student info

Submit your Senior Portrait & Patron List

Each senior will be asked to supply a portrait, a list of patrons and information about his or her plans for the future. The information provided here will be used for the Senior booklet and event presentation for our Salute to Graduating Seniors celebration.

  • Submit photo and list via email. Award recipients will be given an email address to send the inormation.

Important Dates

Graduating seniors who have been notified they are recipients of one of the top awards or the Elizabeth Jones Award must complete the appropriate Scholarship Request Form to receive the funds.

Winners are announced during the Salute to Graduating Seniors Celebration.

Undergraduate students may apply for an annual book award by completing the Book Award Request Form.  A maximum of four requests will be considered.

For High School Students

The Club wants to get to know you through our mentoring program. You are never too young to start thinking about and planning for life after high school. Choosing the right courses and making good grades qualify you for awards, scholarships and special recognition.
